Being a self-proclaimed chocolate connoisseur, I find it only fair that I share my expert advice on how to eat your chocolate the most enjoyable way. Yes, it’s an art that needs to be done right!
I’m a chocolate snob, and have very specific
favourites.
Lindt
makes the cut.

As does
Cialler.

Can
someone please hand me a big bar of Galaxy? The authentic one?
Galaxy |
Camille
Bloch does the trick too!
I have a
liking for Snickers as well, because they double up as snack bars and really
fill me up!

And for all the naysayers, chocolate is healthy as well.
Here’s
how to eat chocolate like a connoisseur:
1.
Make
sure the chocolate is slightly below room temperature, but not frozen. It
should be just cool enough to start melting if you hold it for a while.
2.
Open the wrapping carefully; you don’t want to
lose any precious “chocolate dust” in the process!
3. This
is the most important step – sniff the
chocolate bar. Inhale the aroma. Feel it soaking your senses and fill you up.
The winner in the best-smelling chocolate category is definitely Galaxy! It
makes me feel like I have chocolate running in my veins. Maybe I do.
4. Bite
in, or break off a piece and pop it into your mouth, depending on type of
chocolate and personal preference. I like breaking it off rather than gnawing
at the beautiful bar (except if it’s a small bar, or it they're small individual pieces.)
yumm! |
5. Let it slowly melt in your mouth, occasionally biting into the piece to help along.
6. If
it’s a chocolate with nuts in it, chewing will
be necessary, but do not crunch crunch
crunch through the whole chocolate. Heaven forbid!
7. Carry
on till the whole bar is finished ;)
What? I’m being serious.

I absolutely love this post. I am addicted to chocolate and I too agree that it is healthy for you... in small portions off course lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, yes, you have to let it melt in your mouth. That way, the chocolate coats your tongue ...*drool*
ReplyDeleteYum - chocolate - a topic I'm very fond of, although I have to say my favourite is Cadbury's, but Galaxy does come a close second. As for letting it melt in my mouth, I've not quite mastered that yet! The bite, and in fact the whole bar, are gone before far too quickly.
ReplyDeleteDo master the melting technique, it heightens the whole chocolate experience ^_^
DeleteThink I just died and went to heaven! Great post! :p
